It’s no secret that New York City and Paris are two of my favorite cities. I know many of you feel the same way, so it felt like the right moment to feature these two iconic locations in this volume of Invited Journal. New York City has personally and professionally played a major role in the development of my career, my path and this publication. The energy and vitality of New York will always be a part of my spirit. Paris is equally a part of my life but in a very different way. It’s the place I go to for inspiration and for getting lost in my dreams. Somehow Paris always delivers a good dose of dreams with an equal amount of realness.

These two incredible cities are filled with an abundance of complications, troubles and challenges all colliding with so much passion, beauty and life.
